Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. Reserve lid. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine couscous, tomatoes, and half the onion salt (reserve remaining for meatballs). Stir in 1 cup water. -
Make the Meatballs
On reserved lid, combine turkey, panko, remaining onion salt, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for topping). Form into six equally-sized meatballs.
Place meatballs on top of couscous and tomatoes. -
Finish the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Stir in pesto and butter, and top with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
