  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Turkey

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil, ground turkey, and seasoning blend to hot pan. Break up turkey until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.

    Drain excess liquid from pan, if desired.

    While turkey cooks, drain black beans.

    Separate leaves of lettuce for cups.

    Add the Beans and Corn

    Add corn, beans, and pinch of salt to hot pan and stir to combine. Cook until beans and corn are heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    If pan is dry, add 2 Tbsp. water, if desired.

    Add the Cheese

    Add cream cheese, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir until combined and sauce is bubbling, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in shredded cheese until melted.

    Assemble Lettuce Cups and Finish Dish

    On a clean work surface, add filling to each lettuce cup. Top with salsa and tortilla strips. Layer two lettuce cups for extra crunch and structural support. You should have about 6 lettuce cups.
