Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Drain pulled pork and separate pieces. Combine pork, 2 Tbsp. water, BBQ sauce (to taste), and pineapple in provided tray.

    Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until pork is heated through, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir in seasoning rub. In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix and vinaigrette. Stem cilantro, reserving leaves whole. Wrap tortillas in damp paper towel and microwave, 30-60 seconds.

    To serve, place pulled pork mixture in tortillas and top with slaw, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and cilantro leaves. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Drain pulled pork and separate pieces. Combine pork, 2 Tbsp. water, BBQ sauce (to taste), and pineapple in provided tray.

    Cover tray with foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until pork is heated through, 15-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in seasoning rub. In a mixing bowl, combine slaw mix and vinaigrette. Stem cilantro, reserving leaves whole. Wrap tortillas in damp paper towel and microwave, 30-60 seconds.

    To serve, place pulled pork mixture in tortillas and top with slaw, crispy jalapeños (to taste), and cilantro leaves. Bon appétit!
