Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Crumble Italian sausage. Place sausage, rice, broccoli, and 2 cups water in provided tray and stir to combine.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-28 minutes.

    Finish the Dish

    Carefully remove from oven. Stir in Parmeasn. cream cheese, and pesto. Taste, and add a pinch of salt if desired. Top with crispy onion. Bon appétit!
