Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine ¼ cup water, rice, and broccoli in provided tray. If rice is too clumpy, massage rice to break it apart. Remove Italian sausage from casing. Crumble sausage over rice mixture.
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-28 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Some liquid will remain.
Finish the Dish
Stir Parmesan, cream cheese, and pesto into tray. Garnish with crispy onion. Bon appétit!
