Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Prepare The Ingredients
Peel and cut sweet potato into 1" dice
Trim ends off green beans. Cut into 1" pieces.Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice. -
Start The Meal
In a clean slow cooker, combine vinegar, base, and 1/2 cup water. Season pork with maple seasoning and add. Top with sweet potatoes, onions, 1/2 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper.
Turn slow cooker on to high heat. Cover, and cook for 3 1/2 hours. -
Add Ingredients
Make a cornstarch slurry. Remove lid and add slurry, green beans, and bacon. Continue to cook until pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 30 minutes.
