You Will Need
Large Oven-Safe Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Pork 160° F
Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry, and season all over with a pinch of pepper.
Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add diced chicken to hot pan and stir occasionally until chicken browns and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.
Transfer chicken to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.
While chicken cooks, cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Cook the Broccoli
Return pan used to cook chicken to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli, red onion, and garlic salt to hot pan and stir occasionally, 1 minute.
Add 3 Tbsp. water. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.
If broccoli needs more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.
Broil the Skillet
Stir cream base, chicken, and 1 Tbsp. water into hot pan. Bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, remove from burner. Top evenly with panko, then cheese.
Place pan under hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on pan as skillet may burn easily.
