1 Make the Meatballs
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, 1 tsp. olive oil, Parmesan, panko, half the seasoning blend (reserve remaining for pasta), ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form into eight equally-sized meatballs.
[BETA: no reserved parm on side; add reserved seasoning on side]
-
2 Assemble the Meal
Combine pasta, red bell peppers, remaining seasoning blend, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Top with meatballs. In another mixing bowl, combine ¼ cup water and marinara. Top meatballs with marinara-water mixture.
[BETA: no reserved seasoning on side, no pepperoni stirred in]
-
3 Finish the Dish
Cover with foil and bake in hot oven, 15 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and uncover. Top with mozzarella and pepperoni. Bake uncovered until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Garnish with red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
[BETA: mozz and pepperoni on top of meatballs; only red pepper flakes for garnish]
