Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Chop apple small dice

    Mince shallot

    Cut cauliflower into large bite size pieces

    Roast Cauliflower

    Toss cauliflower with 1 tsp olive oil and seasoned salt blend. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with foil. Roast in a 400 oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and top with Parmesan. Roast an additional 4-5 minutes or until cheese is crusted on top.

    Make Relish

    In a large nonstick saute pan over medium high heat, add 1 tsp olive oil. Cook apples until slightly tender, 4-5 minutes, allowing to slightly char over the heat. Add shallots and cook 1 minute. Add 3oz of water and cook until apples are tender. Add sugar, butter and vinegar and cook until slightly reduced.

    Cook Pork

    In the same pan over medium high heat, add 1 tsp olive oil. Sprinkle .25 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper on the pork. Sear on both sides until done.
