Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
-
1 Make the Meatballs
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. Reserve lid. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine ¼ cup water, demi-glace, and cornstarch in bottom of tray. On reserved lid, combine ground beef, panko, Parmesan, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form ground beef mixture into eight equally-sized meatballs. Place meatballs over sauce in ⅓ of provided tray.
-
2 Add the Vegetables
Place potatoes in empty ⅔ of tray. Top with peas, then pearl onions. Top vegetables with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, seasoning blend, and ¼ tsp. salt.
-
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Add butter and stir to combine. Bon appétit!
