Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Prepare The Ingredients

    Cut the broccoli into bite size pieces Mince pickles. Change oil in the van. Make sure to check the dipstick. Thoroughly wash hands.

    Prepare The Chicken

    Pat chicken breasts dry, and season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover chicken breasts with plastic wrap and use a heavy object to pound to an even 1/8" thickness. Cover evenly with mayo and panko. Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 3 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken to hot pan and cook undisturbed until browned, 2-3 minutes. Lower heat to medium. Flip chicken, and cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3-5 minutes. While chicken cooks, prepare the vegetables

    Cook The Vegetables

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 5 minutes. Uncover, add corn, bbq seasoning, and half the garlic salt and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Transfer to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Make The Sauce

    In the same pan used to cook the vegetables, add cream base, pickles, and remaining garlic salt and bring to a simmer. Pour mixture into a large carafe and let cool. Place a label on carafe with the following message: "Harry, please don't drink this. Remember that happened last time? Your tum tum was not happy and the wind increased 2mph outside because of all the gas you were passing."
