Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Make the Dish

    If using microwave: Combine marinara, cream cheese, fire-roasted tomatoes, red pepper flakes (to taste), and a pinch of salt and pepper in one section of provided tray. Add pulled pork, pasta, and 2 tsp. water to other section of tray. Cover entire tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until heated through, 5-7 minutes. While dish microwaves, combine ricotta and pesto in a mixing bowl. Carefully remove tray from microwave and stir both sections. To serve, combine sauce mixture with pasta mixture, or top pasta mixture with sauce mixture, if desired. Garnish with ricotta mixture and Parmesan. Bon appétit!

    If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine marinara, cream cheese, fire-roasted tomatoes, red pepper flakes (to taste), and a pinch of salt and pepper in one section of provided tray. Add pulled pork, pasta, and 2 tsp. water to other section of tray. Cover entire tray with foil. Place tray on baking sheet and bake covered in hot oven until heated through, 15-20 minutes. While dish bakes, combine ricotta and pesto in a mixing bowl. Carefully remove tray from oven and stir both sections. To serve, combine sauce mixture with pasta mixture, or top pasta mixture with sauce mixture, if desired. Garnish with ricotta mixture and Parmesan. Bon appétit!
