Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine pasta, cream cheese, tomatoes, and chicken demi-glace in provided tray. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Add the Italian Sausage

    Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary, and crumble into bite-sized pieces. Stir into tray.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 16-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in pesto, half the Parmesan, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Garnish with remaining Parmesan, goat cheese (crumbling if needed) and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
