Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

1 Cook the Pork
Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with steak seasoning, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for vegetables), and a pinch of pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Place pork chops in hot pan and cook until golden-brown and chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Transfer pork to a plate and rest, 3 minutes.While pork chops cook, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Green Beans
Trim green beans, if necessary.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans to hot pan. Cook, 1 minute.After 1 minute, add 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 1/4 cup water. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cover and stir occasionally until green beans are tender, 6-8 minutes.If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. -
3 Add the Leeks
Add leeks, remaining garlic salt, and butter to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and leeks are slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.While vegetables cook, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Mashed Potatoes and Finish Dish
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mashed potatoes, ranch seasoning, and a pinch of pepper. Vigorously stir to combine. Kids want to help? With supervision, have them help prepare the mashed potatoes.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and vigorously stir to combine.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with BBQ sauce and garnishing mashed potatoes with cheese. Bon appétit!
