Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Cook the Pork
Pat sliced pork dry and separate pieces.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add sliced pork, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for corn), and garlic pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
2 Add Sauce and Cheese
Add BBQ sauce, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined, 1-2 minutes.
Evenly top with shredded cheese and 1 Tbsp. water. Cover until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While pork cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Make the Creamed Corn
Place corn in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Add cream cheese, butter, remaining garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.Microwave again uncovered until cream cheese and butter are melted, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. -
4 Heat Rolls and Finish Dish
Wrap rolls in a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until heated through, 15-30 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave.Alternatively, toast rolls in a toaster, if desired.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom roll with pork mixture, pickles, then top roll. Bon appétit!
