Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Start the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Working in batches if necessary, add chicken to hot pan and cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Heat the Potatoes

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat.

    Add mashed potatoes and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir vigorously until combined and heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Add sour cream and stir to combine.

    Finish the Chicken

    Reduce heat on chicken to low. Add BBQ sauce and flip chicken until coated on both sides, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Crisp Bacon and Finish Dish

    Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Place bacon on towel-lined plate and spread into an even layer.

    Microwave until crispy, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping mashed potatoes with crispy bacon and cheese. Garnish chicken with dressing and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
