Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Start the Bolognese
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add onions, ground beef, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until onions are tender and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 6-8 minutes.Drain any excess liquid from pan. Pan will be hot! Use caution. -
2 Finish the Bolognese
Add tomato sauce, 1/4 cup water, Italian seasoning, garlic and parsley seasoning, sugar, garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

3 Add the Pasta
Once simmering, add pasta to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and pasta is heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner. -
4 Broil Garlic Bread and Finish Dish
Separate ciabatta. Evenly top cut-sides with softened butter and halve diagonally.
Place ciabatta, cut-sides up, on prepared baking sheet.Broil under hot broiler until slightly toasted, 1-2 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as ciabatta may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with cheese. Bon appétit!
