1 Prepare the Potatoes
Prick potatoes all over with a fork. Place potatoes on a microwave-safe plate.
Microwave uncovered until easily pierced with a knife, 6-10 minutes. Microwaves vary in power; begin checking doneness every minute after 6 minutes. While potatoes microwave, in a mixing bowl, combine 1 Tbsp. softened salted butter, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Set aside.Carefully remove potatoes from microwave and let cool, 5 minutes.Once cool enough to handle, transfer potatoes to a clean, flat work surface. Cut slits widthwise, 1/4” apart, across top of potatoes, making sure not to cut all the way through. Evenly top with butter mixture, then grated cheese. Massage butter and cheese into potatoes. -
2 Air Fry the Potatoes
To use an air fryer, place potatoes in basket, slit-side up.
Air fry at 380 degrees until potatoes are browned, 15-20 minutes.Carefully remove basket from air fryer.Alternatively, place potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet and roast at 400 degrees in hot oven, 15-20 minutes. While potatoes cook, continue recipe. -
3 Form Patties and Make Crema
In another mixing bowl, combine mustard (to taste) and creme fraiche. Set aside.
Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, 5" across. Season both sides with savory seasoning and a pinch of salt. -
4 Cook the Patties
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until slightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Top with sliced cheese, then remove from burner. While patties cook, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Buns and Finish Dish
Heat buns to your preference using a toaster or microwave.Alternatively, place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes._
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, arugula, crema, then top bun. Bon appétit!
