Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut potatoes into ¼" wedges and pat dry.

    Finely chop pepperoni.

    Start the Potatoes

    Place potatoes on one prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, potato spice seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes. Spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Meatloaves

    In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground beef, pepperoni, panko, ricotta, garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper.

    Form meat mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. Place meatloaves on second prepared baking sheet.

    Roast the Potatoes and Meatloaves

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove potatoes from oven and flip. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Roast potatoes and meatloaves in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Finish Meatloaves and Potatoes and Finish Dish

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove meatloaves from oven. Keep potatoes in oven.

    Top meatloaves evenly with marinara and smoked Gouda.

    Roast again in hot oven until potatoes are tender and golden-brown and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 3-5 minutes.

    Remove both sheets from oven. Add Parmesan to potatoes and stir to combine. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.
