Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Cook the Rice
Bring a medium pot with rice, umami seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1 1/4 cups water to a boil.
Once boiling, evenly top rice with slaw mix. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice and slaw are tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Set aside and cover to keep warm.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Trim cucumber and thinly slice.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.In a mixing bowl, combine cucumbers, carrots, vinegar, half the green portions of green onions (reserve remaining for garnish), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Set aside. -
3 Cook the Ground Beef
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and white portions of green onions to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Drain any excess liquid, if desired. Pan will be hot! Use caution.Stir in orange ginger sesame sauce (to taste), peanuts, and 1 Tbsp. water until combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While beef cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel. If tortillas come folded, keep folded.
Microwave until heated through, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with ground beef, spring mix, then cucumber salad. Garnish rice with remaining green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
