Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, follow same instructions.

    Make the Broccoli Topping

    Cut broccoli into 1/4" pieces.

    Place broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave uncovered until broccoli is tender, 2-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Add shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, half the minced garlic and parsley (reserve remaining for squash), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.

    Start the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with rotisserie chicken seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan and cook until golden-brown on one side, 5-7 minutes.

    Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.

    Finish the Chicken

    Flip chicken and evenly top with broccoli topping. Cover and cook until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook Squash and Finish Dish

    Trim yellow squash ends, cut lengthwise, and cut into 1/2" half-moons.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add squash to hot pan and stir occasionally until slightly browned and tender, 5-7 minutes.

    Add remaining minced garlic and parsley, bacon, and garlic salt. Stir occasionally until garlic is fragrant and bacon crisps, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
