Customize It Instructions

  • If using top round steaks, pat dry. Steak coloration may vary upon arrival due to packaging processes; steak quality and flavor will not be impacted. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  1. 1

    Cook the Chicken

Pat chicken dry and season both sides with black garlic seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add chicken to hot pan and cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.

Remove from burner. Transfer chicken to a plate and tent with foil. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

Add broccoli, 1/4 cup water, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.

Uncover; stir in peas, 1/4 tsp. salt, and lemon garlic butter until combined, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

  3. 3

    Cook the Sauce

    Core and coarsely chop tomato.

Return pan used to cook chicken to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

Add tomatoes and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tomatoes are tender, 1-2 minutes.

Stir in basil pesto butter and 1 Tbsp. water until combined, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While sauce cooks, continue recipe.

  4. 4

Heat Mashed Potatoes and Finish Dish

Add mashed potatoes and a pinch of salt to a microwave-safe bowl. Vigorously stir to combine.

Microwave until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave and vigorously stir to combine.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with sauce. Garnish vegetables with cheese. Bon appétit!
