Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Make the Home Fries
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add potatoes, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until slightly browned and tender, 10-12 minutes.Evenly top with cheese. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While home fries cook, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner. Let cool, at least 5 minutes. -
3 Dress the Chicken
After 5 minutes, or once cool enough to handle, transfer chicken to a clean, flat work surface. Coarsely chop.
Place chicken in a heat-safe mixing bowl. Stir in half the dressing (reserve remaining for garnish) and Buffalo sauce (to taste) until combined. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Buffalo sauce. -
4 Heat Buns and Finish Dish
Halve and separate buns.
Heat buns to your preference using a toaster or microwave.Alternatively, place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add buns, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom buns with spring mix, chicken mixture (to taste), remaining dressing, then top buns. Bon appétit!
