If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Coarsely crush cashews in shipping bag.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic sesame sauce, and 2 Tbsp. water. Set aside. Kids want to help? With supervision, have them help prepare the sauce mixture. -
2 Cook the Green Beans
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans and cook, 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.Uncover and stir in garlic pepper and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir occasionally until combined, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.While green beans cook, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and cornstarch. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until chicken is slightly browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Stir in sauce mixture until combined and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.If too thick, add water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Stir in half the cashews (reserve remaining for garnish) until combined, 30-60 seconds.Remove from burner.While chicken cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt until combined and fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with remaining cashews. Garnish green beans with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
