Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Potatoes

    Peel and cut potatoes into large evenly-sized chunks.

    Cook and Mash the Vegetables

    In a large pot, bring cauliflower and potatoes covered by water to a boil.

    Once boiling, cover and cook until vegetables are fork-tender, 12-15 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Drain in a colander and return to pot. Mash until smooth and combined.

    Finish the Dish

    Add butter, sour cream, cheese, and potato seasoning.

    Continue to mash until thoroughly combined and cheese is melted. Season with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
