Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut potatoes into 1" dice.

    Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until fork-tender, 5-7 minutes.

    While potatoes microwave, cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Carefully remove potatoes from microwave.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add broccoli, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for pork), and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover and stir occasionally until water is almost completely evaporated, 3-5 minutes.

    Uncover and add potatoes, butter, and buttermilk-dill seasoning. Stir occasionally until combined and potatoes are browned, 4-6 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While vegetables cook, continue recipe.

    Start the Pork

    Pat pork medallions dry. Season all over with remaining garlic salt and a pinch of salt and pepper. If you receive a whole pork tenderloin, pat dry and, on a separate cutting board, slice into medallions, 3/4"-thick.

    Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Working in batches if necessary, add pork to hot pan and sear until browned, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner.

    Pork will finish cooking in a later step.

    Make Topping, Finish Pork, and Finish Dish

    Coarsely crush crackers.

    In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Everything Bagel seasoning.

    Evenly top pork with cream cheese topping, shredded cheese, then crackers, pressing gently to adhere. Pork will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place pan under hot broiler and broil until cheese is melted and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 1-2 minutes.

    Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as pork and cheese may burn easily under broiler.

    Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt. Rest, 3 minutes.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping vegetables with dressing (to taste). Bon appétit!
