Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Pat chicken dry.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken and bacon to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Make the Sauce

    Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains.

    Add 1 cup water, softened cream cheese, chicken base, and ranch seasoning. Bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir until thickened and smooth, 3-4 minutes.

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

    Add pasta, peas, and half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish). Stir to combine and return to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir occasionally until pasta and peas are heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!
