Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Bake the Ground Pork Mixture
Add ground pork to one provided tray and break into small pieces. Add pepper and onion mix, fiesta seasoning, ancho cinnamon rub (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir to combine.
Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and ground pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.While ground pork mixture bakes, continue recipe. -
2 Bake the Rice and Beans
Drain beans.
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.In second provided tray, add rice, beans, amarillo seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Cover tray with foil.Bake covered in hot oven until heated through, 10-15 minutes.While rice bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Build Burritos and Finish Meal
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
Carefully remove both trays from oven. Drain excess liquid from pork mixture tray.Evenly divide pork mixture, rice and beans, sour cream, and cheese between tortillas, placing in center of each. Fold sides of tortilla toward center, then roll bottom edge towards the top, enclosing sides tightly.To serve, halve diagonally, if desired. Bon appétit!
