There's something about the patty, the bun, the toppings… we crave it, you crave it, and now, with our new burger kits, you'll be able to indulge weekly if you so desire. New combinations, old favorites… we'll bring them all to you, with the same fresh ingredients and easy instructions you've come to know from Home Chef.

1 Roast the Potatoes
Quarter potatoes.
Place potatoes, 1 Tbsp. olive oil , and ranch seasoning (not ranch dressing; that goes on cooked potatoes) on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes. Spread into a single layer. Have a little sous chef around? With supervision, have them help season and massage the potatoes.Roast in hot oven until browned and tender, 25-30 minutes, stirring once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven. While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
2 Toast Buns and Make Bacon Mixture
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Working in batches if necessary, add buns, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until slightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer buns to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. While buns toast, line a microwave-safe bowl with a paper towel. Add bacon to towel-lined bowl.Microwave uncovered until crispy, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Discard paper towels. Stir in caramelized onions (not crispy onions; those go on the burger later) until combined. Set aside. -
3 Cook the Patties
Form ground beef into four equally-sized patties, 5" across. Season both sides with seasoned salt.
Return pan used to toast buns to medium-high heat.Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. -
4 Add Cheese and Finish Dish
Evenly top patties with bacon mixture, then cheese.
Cover, and cook until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, crispy onions, then top bun. Garnish potatoes with dressing. Bon appétit!
