Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Hold romaine heart at root end and chop coarsely.

    Halve tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    Pat chicken dry. Season all over with rotisserie chicken seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Assemble the Salad

    Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Place bacon on towel-lined plate and spread into a single layer.

    Microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    In a mixing bowl, combine romaine, dressing, tomatoes, cheese, bacon, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Assemble Wraps and Finish Dish

    Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel. If tortillas come folded, keep folded.

    Microwave until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and transfer tortillas to a clean, flat work surface.

    Evenly spread guacamole (to taste) in center of tortilla. Evenly top with salad and chicken. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the guacamole.

    Fold sides of tortilla toward center, then roll bottom edge towards the top, enclosing sides tightly.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, halving wrap, if desired. Bon appétit!
