If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Cook the Orzo
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add minced garlic and lemon basil to hot pan. Stir occasionally until garlic is fragrant, 30-60 seconds.Add 3 1/2 cups water, chicken base, cream base, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, add orzo and stir often until water is almost completely evaporated and orzo is slightly tender, 10-12 minutes.While orzo cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Make the Bacon Crunch
Coarsely crush crackers.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat.Add bacon and crackers to hot, dry pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 2-3 minutes.Transfer bacon crunch to a plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium heat. -
3 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with lemon n herb seasoning and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner. -
4 Add Chicken and Finish Dish
Add chicken, peas, a pinch of salt, and 3/4 the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan with orzo. Stir occasionally until combined and cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
