Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with 1 tsp. olive oil, chimichurri seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Place chicken in one provided tray.

    In second provided tray, combine zucchini, pepper and onion mix, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake the Chicken and Vegetables

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    While chicken and vegetables bake, continue recipe.

    Heat Rice and Finish Dish

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt and fluff rice with a fork.

    Carefully remove both trays from oven. Stir softened tomato feta sauce and garlic salt into vegetables.

    To serve, top rice with vegetables, chicken (slicing, if desired), tzatziki, and cheese. Bon appétit!
