If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, smoked paprika, 3/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.
Place meatballs in one provided tray and evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.Tear spinach. Get the kids involved! With supervision, have them help tear the spinach.Add spinach and mashed potatoes to second provided tray. Vigorously stir to combine and cover tray with foil. -
2 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays (meatballs uncovered, mashed potatoes covered) in hot oven until mashed potatoes are heated through, spinach is wilted, and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover mashed potatoes and add cream cheese and ranch seasoning. Vigorously stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.While meal bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Crisp Bacon and Heat Sauce
Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel.
Place bacon on towel-lined plate and spread into an even layer.Microwave until crispy, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave.In a microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded cheese, cream base, and 2 Tbsp. water. Microwave uncovered until sauce is heated through, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.To serve, top mashed potatoes with meatballs. Garnish with sauce, bacon, and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
