Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |

  1. 1

    Start the Tortellini and Tomatoes

Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.

    Prick tomatoes with a fork.

Evenly divide tortellini, tomatoes, 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and 1/2 cup water between both provided trays. Cover both trays with foil.

Bake both trays covered in hot oven until tomatoes burst, 10-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add the Sauce and Cheese

Carefully remove both trays from oven.

    Tear spinach leaves.

Evenly divide marinara, cream base, garlic salt, spinach, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) between both trays. Stir to combine and cover with foil. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

  3. 3

    Bake the Meal

Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until tortellini are tender, 15-20 minutes.

Carefully remove trays from oven. Evenly divide butter between both trays and stir until melted and combined. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

To serve, garnish with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
