Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Cook the Ground Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork, soy sauce, cabbage, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
2 Add the Sauces
Add yuzu dipping sauce and sweet chili sauce to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.While ground pork mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Bok Choy
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add bok choy to hot pan. Stir occasionally until bright green, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Add rice, garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and stir occasionally until bok choy is tender and water is almost completely evaporated, 3-4 minutes.Remove from burner. Uncover and fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with ground pork mixture (to taste). Garnish with wonton strips and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
