Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Start the Vegetables and Beef
Place ground beef in one provided tray and break up into bite-sized pieces. Spread into a single layer.
In second provided tray, combine carrots, onions, 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Spread into a single layer.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Beef will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid. Trays will be hot! Use caution. -
2 Assemble the Pot Pie
Add 1/4 tsp. salt and savory seasoning to tray with beef and stir until combined, breaking up beef into smaller bite-sized pieces.
Evenly divide vegetables, beef, and flour between both trays. Stir until no dry flour remains.Evenly divide cream base, chicken base, and peas between both trays. Add 1/4 cup water to each tray and stir until combined. -
3 Add Biscuit Topper and Finish Meal
Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until melted, 20-30 seconds.
Carefully remove from microwave.Break biscuits into 1" pieces.Evenly top both trays with biscuit pieces and butter.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until biscuit topper has browned and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 12-14 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.
