Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, add to a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, add to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp of olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

    Bake the Sausage

    Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.

    Evenly divide sausage and 2 tsp. olive oil between both provided trays. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven.

    Add the Sauce and Gnocchi

    Evenly divide cream base, cream cheese, gnocchi, peas, and garlic and parsley seasoning between both trays.

    Stir 1/2 cup water into each tray until combined, breaking up sausage into bite-sized pieces. Spread into an even layer. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Evenly top both trays with mozzarella and Asiago.

    Finish the Meal

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until sauce is bubbling and gnocchi is tender, 15-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    To serve, top gnocchi with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
