Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, break up in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

    Start the Turkey

    Evenly divide turkey between both trays, breaking into bite-sized pieces. Top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While turkey bakes, continue recipe.

    Turkey will finish cooking in a later step.

    Add the Pasta

    Tear spinach leaves. Get the kids involved! With supervision, have them help tear the spinach.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove trays from oven and drain any excess liquid. Break up turkey into smaller bite-sized pieces. Trays and turkey will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly divide minced garlic and parsley, spinach, pasta, cream base, chimichurri seasoning, garlic salt, and shredded cheese between both trays. Add 2 Tbsp. water to each tray and stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Cover both trays with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.

    While meal bakes, stem and tear dill.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover and evenly divide lemon juice between trays and stir to combine. Trays will be hot! Use a utensil.

    To serve, top pasta with feta and dill. Bon appétit!
