Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Start the Green Beans

    Spray provided trays with cooking spray.

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Evenly divide green beans between both prepared trays. Top each tray with 1 tsp.olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to combine. Cover trays with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Uncover and drain any excess liquid. Trays will be hot! Use caution.

    Combine green beans into one tray and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, half the savory seasoning (reserve remaining for pork chops), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Cover tray with foil.

    Add Pork Chops and Bake Meal

    Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with remaining savory seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.

    Place pork chops in empty tray.

    Bake both trays (green beans covered, pork uncovered) in hot oven until green beans are tender and pork chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 12-14 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Rest pork, 3 minutes.

    Uncover green beans and stir in half the softened butter (reserve remaining for sauce) until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    While meal bakes, continue recipe.

    Heat Mashed Potatoes, Make Sauce, and Finish Meal

    Place mashed potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl. Vigorously stir to combine.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Vigorously stir to combine. Set aside.

    In another microwave-safe bowl, combine remaining softened butter, mushroom base, and 1 Tbsp. water.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 20-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir in creme fraiche until combined.

    To serve, top pork chop with sauce and garnish with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
