Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Make the Dish

    If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine red bell peppers and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave, 2 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Add rice and peas to tray and stir to combine. Top with seasoning blend. Top with pulled pork and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave again until pulled pork is warmed through, 4-6 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir to combine, then top with Sriracha (to taste), teriyaki glaze, and crispy wontons. Bon appétit!

    If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine red bell peppers and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet and bake in hot oven, 9-11 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging. Add rice and peas to tray and stir to combine. Top with seasoning blend. Top with pulled pork and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover with foil, place tray on baking sheet, and bake again in hot oven until pulled pork is heated through, 14-16 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir to combine, then top with Sriracha (to taste), teriyaki glaze, and crispy wontons. Bon appétit!
