Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 22-25 minutes.

1 Form the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 3 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.
After 1 minute, add ground pork, 1/4 tsp. salt, and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse). Stir until completely combined.Form mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs. -
2 Bake the Meatballs
Place meatballs in provided tray and cover with foil.
Bake covered in hot oven until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes. Carefully remove from oven and uncover. Stir in garlic sesame sauce until meatballs are evenly coated. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Bake again uncovered in hot oven until sauce is heated through, 4-6 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While meatballs bake, continue recipe. -
3 Assemble Salad and Finish Meal
Stem cilantro and reserve whole leaves.
In another mixing bowl, combine dressing, miso base, 1 tsp. olive oil, slaw mix, spring mix, almonds, cilantro, and wontons. Bon appétit!
