Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into ¼" fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.
Spread into a single layer and roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Toss fries with garlic pepper. Fries will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Cook the Caramelized Onions
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add onion to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned, 10-12 minutes.Add sugar and 2 Tbsp. water. Stir often until water has evaporated and onions have caramelized, 2-3 minutes.If pan is dry, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.Remove from burner. Transfer onions to a plate.While onions cook, continue recipe. -
3 Make Sauce and Toast Buns
In a mixing bowl, combine crème fraîche, mustard, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Spray cut-sides of buns with cooking spray.Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Work in batches, if necessary. Remove from burner. Transfer buns to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. -
4 Make Burgers and Finish Dish
In another mixing bowl, combine panko, potato spice seasoning, pork, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Form into 4 equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter.
Return pan used to toast buns to medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add patties to hot pan and cook until lightly charred and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Work in batches, if necessary. Remove from burner. Add cheese to patties and let melt, 1-2 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with sauce, patty, caramelized onions, and top bun. Bon appétit!
