Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Sweet Potatoes
Place sweet potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until tender, 4-6 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave and stir in garlic salt until combined. -
2 Start the Stew
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with savory seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until chicken is browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
3 Finish the Stew
Add leeks to hot pan with chicken. Stir occasionally until slightly softened, 3-4 minutes.
Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains.Add sweet potatoes, cream base, 1 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir occasionally until sweet potatoes are tender and stew is thickened, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner.While stew cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Toast Biscuits and Finish Dish
Halve biscuits and separate halves.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.Add biscuits to hot, dry pan, cut-side down. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
