Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Cook the Beef and Peppers
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/4" dice.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add ground beef, bell peppers, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and chimichurri seasoning to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. -
2 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Add chicken base, 1 cup water, and pasta to hot pan.
Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.While sauce simmers, continue recipe. -
3 Make the Tzatziki
Trim cucumber and grate into a mixing bowl.
Add sour cream and buttermilk-dill seasoning. Stir until combined. Set aside. -
4 Add Butter and Finish Dish
Once sauce is simmering, stir occasionally until slightly thickened, 5-7 minutes.
Remove from burner. Stir in softened butter until melted and combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with tzatziki and cheese. Bon appétit!
