Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Prick tomatoes with a fork. Divide tomatoes evenly between provided trays. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.

    In a mixing bowl, combine sausage and chimichurri seasoning. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.

    Evenly divide meatballs between trays.

    Bake the Tomatoes and Meatballs

    Bake in hot oven until tomatoes burst and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and gently press tomatoes to release their juices. Stir tomatoes.

    While tomatoes and meatballs bake, continue recipe.

    Heat Naan, Toss Spinach, and Finish Dish

    Toast naan as desired. Alternatively, place naan directly on oven rack and bake until warmed through, 2-3 minutes.

    While naan heats, whisk dressing and creme fraiche combine in another mixing bowl. Add spinach and toss to coat.

    Carefully remove naan from oven.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, spreading hummus on one side of each naan, and topping with spinach, feta, meatballs, and tomatoes. Bon appétit!
