Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Stem mushrooms and cut caps into 1/4” slices.

    Trim and thinly slice green onions.

    Cook Ground Beef and Mushrooms

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add ground beef, mushrooms, and 1/2 tsp. salt to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Drain any excess liquid. Pan will be hot! Use caution.

    Stir in garlic salt, rotisserie chicken seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. pepper until combined, 30-60 seconds.

    Add the Sauce

    Add flour to hot pan and stir often until no dry flour remains.

    Add 2 cups water, cream base, 1/4 tsp. salt, beef base, and buttermilk-dill seasoning. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.

    If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

    Add pasta to hot pan. Stir occasionally until pasta is coated and heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with green onions. Bon appétit!
