Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Prepare Ingredients and Make Slaw
Core tomato and cut into 1/4" dice.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Combine slaw mix and dressing in a mixing bowl. Set aside. -
2 Make the Filling
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add ground beef, white portions of green onions, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Break up until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Carefully drain fat from pan, if desired. Pan will be hot! Use a utensil. Return pan to medium-high heat.Stir in corn, tomatoes, and taco seasoning. Stir occasionally until heated through, 2-4 minutes.Remove from burner. -
3 Make the Rice
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, 2 cups water, and garlic salt. Leave at least 3” of room on top to prevent over boil. Microwave uncovered, 4 minutes.
Carefully remove rice from microwave and stir. Microwave again uncovered until water is absorbed, 2-3 minutes.Stir in green portions of green onions. Rest, 3 minutes.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Tortillas and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling tortillas with ground beef, ranch slaw, and cheese. Bon appétit!
