Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Pat chicken dry. Season all over with garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Place chicken in one provided tray. Spread into an even layer and evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Combine peppers and zucchini in second provided tray and toss with piri piri seasoning (to taste), 1/4 tsp. salt, and 2 tsp. olive oil. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake the Vegetables and Chicken

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and drain any excess liquid from chicken tray. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

    Stir chimichurri (to taste) into chicken until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    While vegetables and chicken bake, continue recipe.

    Heat Couscous, Make Crema, and Finish Meal

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine couscous, 2 Tbsp. water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in a pinch of salt and softened butter until combined.

    While couscous microwaves, in a mixing bowl, combine creme fraiche, lemon juice, 1 Tbsp. water, and half the buttermilk-dill seasoning (remaining is yours to use as you please!).

    To serve, top chicken with crema and garnish vegetables with cheese. Bon appétit!
