Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground turkey, bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

1 Form the Meatloaves
Spray both provided trays with cooking spray.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, barbeque seasoning (use less if spice-averse), panko, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the barbeque seasoning.Form mixture into 4 evenly-sized, oval-shaped loaves.Place meatloaves in one prepared tray and top with 1/3 the BBQ sauce (reserve remaining for garnish). -
2 Prepare the Mashed Potatoes
Tear spinach into smaller pieces. Kids want to help? With supervision, have them help prepare the spinach.
In second prepared tray, combine mashed potatoes and buttermilk-dill seasoning. Stir vigorously to combine. Spread into an even layer.Evenly top with spinach, creme fraiche, garlic salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil. Creme fraiche will melt as meal bakes.Cover tray with foil. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake both trays (mashed potatoes covered, meatloaves uncovered) in hot oven, 10 minutes.
Carefully remove both trays from oven.Top meatloaves with brown sugar. Uncover mashed potatoes and vigorously stir until combined. Spread into an even layer.Bake both trays again uncovered in hot oven until mashed potatoes are heated through and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 20-25 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.To serve, garnish meatloaf with remaining BBQ sauce (using a clean utensil. Do not cross contaminate!). Slice meatloaf, if desired. Bon appétit!
