If using chicken cutlets, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes per side. Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Place both potatoes on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until fork-tender, 6-10 minutes.While potatoes microwave, mince chives. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, softened butter, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.Carefully remove potatoes from microwave. Using the flat side of an object (like a drinking glass), press down gently to smash each potato until 1/2" thick. -
2 Cook the Steaks
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with 1/2 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add steaks to hot pan and cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While steaks cook, continue recipe. -
3 Crisp the Bacon
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add bacon and half the barbeque seasoning (to taste; remaining is yours to use as you please!) to hot pan.Stir occasionally until crisp, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer to towel-lined plate. Wipe pan clean and return to medium heat. -
4 Finish Potatoes and Finish Dish
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, smashed potatoes, potato spice seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-5 minutes.
Evenly top with cheese and cover until melted, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with honey butter and garnishing potatoes with chives. Bon appétit!
