Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauce
Drain and rinse beans.
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut poblano into 1/4" dice.Core tomato and cut into 1/2" dice.In a mixing bowl, combine honey, chipotle pesto (to taste), fiesta seasoning, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 cup water. Set aside. -
2 Start the Filling
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tsp. olive oil, ground pork, 1/4 tsp. salt, and poblanos (use less if spice-averse) to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce
Carefully drain any excess liquid from pan.
Add sauce and stir occasionally until sauce has slightly reduced, 2-3 minutes.Add beans and stir often until heated through, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. -
4 Warm Tortillas, Assemble Burritos, and Finish Dish
Wrap tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave until warm, 30-60 seconds.
If tortillas come folded, keep folded.Carefully remove from microwave.Place tortillas on a clean work surface. Evenly divide filling, crema, tomatoes, and cheese between tortillas.Fold sides of tortilla toward center, then roll bottom edge towards the top, enclosing sides tightly.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, halving burritos, if desired.
